The Canary Islands are an opulent archipelago bestowed with all the lush natural beauty. They are situated in the North Atlantic Ocean, this island group consists of seven larger islands and six small islets. While visiting this place, you will be completely mystified with the splendid beauty of the panoramic islands of this place. This archipelago developed after volcanic eruptions and Greeks had named them as the Happy Islands.
Playa de las Americas is a very beautiful landscape which offers tourists opportunities of having fun at a sandy beach and is also fully endowed with the latest infrastructure facilities. This beach is located in the Tenerife Island.
The Timanfaya National Park is an abandoned wasteland which is located on the south-western region of the island of Lanzarote. Timanfaya National Park is made up of soil developed after volcanic eruptions and volcanic activity still takes place in the region with geysers emitting hot water which really enthrals the tourists. This park has been included in the category of biological reserves by UNESCO in 1993. You can really enjoy a guided tour of this park in a coach.
The National Park is also made up of volcanic lands and is the highest point of the Atlantic Ocean with elevation up to 3.718 metres, the National Park El Teidea is also the loftiest mountain in Spain. This mountain offers a mesmerizing sight to the visitors with its 80 kilometres wide crater. You can reach the summit of the peak on your own but can go up to 3600 metres via a cableway. You can only enter the park if you take permission beforehand from the park authorities. To enter the crater you then board a cross-county car and then walk.
Playa de los Cristianos on Tenerife is also another attractive beach situated on this place and enthrals visitors with its translucent waters. Located near a bucolic fishing village, the state-of-the-art infrastructure of this place definitely makes it an alluring place for visitors.
Tenerife is a very beautiful atoll of the Canary Islands and is renowned for its picturesque beaches, rare flora and wildlife and magnificent volcanic mountains. Tenerife is also very popular among the tourists for its scuba diving facilities which are available round-the-clock. You can have a whale of your time at this place with near-and-dear ones and your peers.
You can also explore the exquisite sand beaches of this place like the Playa de Las Teresitas which is a beautiful beach made by humans only in 1973. The pristine golden sand of this place was especially bought from the Spanish Sahara region. This beach offers ample opportunities to the tourists to enjoy themselves with frolicsome activities like the beach volleyball. There are also exquisite restaurants that offer mouth-watering cuisines located on this beach. On this 1.5 m long beach, there is a grove of palm trees which will offer you a pure soothing experience.
The Canary Islands are now visited by holiday makers on a family holiday who like to rent holiday villas, self catering holiday apartments and holiday cottages as holiday home accommodation direct from their holiday home owners in the Canary Islands.
